Defense Against Mobs – An Interview with Massad Ayoob
Our country has been experiencing widespread violent protests and riots over the past two months. What may have begun as legitimate protests by mostly naïve, misinformed people was quickly taken over by criminals and those with violent intent. As a major political party has chosen to encourage this unrest using it as a political tool, it’s likely the violence will continue as we approach the November election.
How can a citizen protect himself or herself if attacked by a violent mob? This is the subject addressed by Massad Ayoob in an interview with Gila Hayes. Ayoob is an expert in the world of firearms training and self-defense law and has written a number of books on these subjects. Gila Hayes manages the Armed Citizens Legal Defense Network and has authored multiple books on self-defense and concealed carry.
The interview with Ayoob can be read here. As always, the intent of my articles is to expose people to useful information and to hopefully inspire some to seek out further knowledge. Ayoob’s interview is full of useful information and is well worth reading. I encourage you all to do so. In addition, we’ve interviewed Massad Ayoob on Gun Owner’s Radio twice. Those interviews can be heard here.
The right to self-defense is a basic human right. Gun ownership is an integral part of that right. If you want to keep your rights defend them by joining San Diego County Gun Owners (SDCGO) in San Diego, Orange County Gun Owners (OCGO) in Orange County, San Bernardino County Gun Owners (SBCGO) in San Bernardino County or Riverside County Gun Owners (RCGO) in Riverside. Support the cause by listening to Gun Owner’s Radio live on Sunday afternoon or on the internet at your leisure. Join the fight and help us restore and preserve our second amendment rights. Together we will win.
