The first week of 2022 has not been without a lot of heartache and loss. Loosing family and friends makes the "next chapter" in life a challenge. Yet, in the loss, we must find the will and determination to move forward. I am. We will.
In looking forward, as Executive Director of Orange County Gun Owners, if I were to pick a word to describe my initiative for our PAC in 2022 that word would be "intentional". We will be intentional in our community service. We will be intentional in our outreach. We will be intentional with our time. And, we will be intentional in our dedication to the fight!!

Kelly Ernby, a Huntington Beach resident and Deputy DA for Orange County, passed away this week at the age of 46. For those of us who knew Kelly, collectively we'd all agree that she was first and foremost a sincere and genuine person. She loved God, her husband, our great country, and projected her belief in the positive, always. NEVER one to back down to a fight or succumb to defeat, she ALWAYS looked forward AND leaned into the next challenge. Kelly will be missed!
Charity Shoot Registration is Now Open!
Orange County Gun Owners is proud to be a longtime supporter of the 9th Annual Front Sight Charity Shoot supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation. We have been there from the very beginning and are excited to support again in 2022!
This year's event will be held on March 4th through 7th, 2022, at Front Sight Firearms Institute in Pahrump, NV. The cost of the course is just $200, plus a $50 donation to fight leukemia and lymphoma for a total of $250. There is no course fee if you have a membership at Front Sight - just the $50 donation.
Pick a 2 or 4 day course in handgun, rifle, or shotgun! There are courses available for all ages and all skill levels. We have brand new shooters, 11 year old kids, 73 year old grandmothers, law enforcement officers, Navy SEALs, and everything in between!
Please take the time to join many like minded freedom loving patriots this Saturday in San Diego at Waterfront Park from 12 noon - 5PM PST. The SoCAL Gun Owners PACS will all be in attendance to support this historic event. The goal is to unite Southern California with what's expected to be "thousands" of people, live music, inspirational speakers, food trucks, kid's corner, and much, much more.
On Saturday, Feb 5th, come join OCGO for our first social shoot of 2022! This is going to be fun. Education and outreach has been a part of who Orange County Gun Owners is from the very beginning. Our diverse group of volunteers work to expand the shooting sport community and educate the public. For just $60/person, we can give you a safe, fun, safe, and educational first-time shooting experience.
