This past weekend I had the awesome opportunity to attend the 2nd Amendment Celebration in San Diego called "Gun Prom" hosted by San Diego Gun Owners. Let me say this, Saturday night was beyond what I could have imagined. It was an experience WE, Orange County Gun Owners PAC, WILL have, one day!
Over the last several days I've been trying to formulate the right description of the event. From the attendees, to the ENERGY of the community, and to the overall atmosphere of the night, it was almost overwhelming. Almost!
As an example of the commitment to the cause, to have multiple San Diego gun shops voluntarily close their doors early on the day of Gun Prom to allow their employees to attend the gala, simply amazing. And, quite humbling.
We, the Orange County Gun Owners PAC, have a strong foundation. This foundation has been built by the hard work and commitment of many in just a few short years! We have an opportunity to do amazing things as well and we are primed to capitalize on a shift of momentum that IS moving in a positive direction. Yes, we've had a couple of setbacks, yet with the support of the growing PACs in San Diego, the Inland Empire, and the 2 new Gun Owner PACs on the horizon in LA and in NorCAL, the collective 2A voice IS going to be heard.
I encourage everyone reading this to make time next Wednesday, October 27th, to come to our monthly meeting (details below). We don't care if you're a member or not, come and bring a friend(s). We don't even care what political party you belong to or associate with. We want ALL gun loving, proud 2nd Amendment PATRIOTS to JOIN us. We are going to discuss the "what's next" for Orange County Gun Owners.
