Orange County Gun Owners Future and Current Members,
Due to new guidelines about COVID-19, we have regretfully decided to cancel our monthly meeting at JT Schmidt and postpone our Second Amendment Celebration Dinner on March 28th.
Meeting: We want our meetings to be useful and productive, but with so many having to deal with the fallout from COVID-19, we don’t think meetings will be productive.
So let’s take this month off. Hope things calm down quickly. Our next meting will be April 30th at JT Schmidt for the 3rd part of our How To Be a Second Amendment Activist. Please mark your calendar.
Dinner: We will postpone our Second Amendment Celebration Dinner for later this year. We are working with the venue to secure another date. We will happily refund anyone who asks. But we are hoping you can hang on with us until we know what the new date is and then make a decision.
Anyone who purchased a ticket or a table will, of course, have a ticket or table at our dinner once we get the new date.
If you have questions, please do not hesitate to email us.
A Word: We do not know when things will calm down. Do the things now that will allow you to look back and be proud of the person you were. Help those who need it. Take care of those around you. The reaction to the outbreak has already cost people their livelihood and the longer the panic continues, the more jobs will be lost. Be mindful of the tribulations of others and do what you can to make things better. Make sure you and your loved ones stay safe to the best of your ability, but think of ways you can help those who are in need. The next few weeks is the time to practice self-reliance while exercising generosity and demonstrating patience.
On behalf of OCGO board members, thank you.
